The Range Riders are sponsoring the Annual Summer Campout on Labor Day Weekend. Everyone is invited to join us for all, or part, of this 4 day event this Friday through Monday.
Come camp with us! The road to the campground is RV accessible with a bit of care crossing the many streams that criss-cross the road to Harshaw, south of Patagonia. The campground is primitive, no electricity or water available.
If you don't want to camp, that's ok, too! Come on out for the runs on Saturday (see calendar) and for our club-sponsored pot-luck. Non members have a $5.00 per adult fee for Saturday night dinner. This is the only club-sponsored meal for the weekend. We're also having a Ladies Run on Sunday that should be lots of fun!
See "Read More" for directions.
Directions to campground:
From Patagonia:
Turn south off highway at Patagonia Post Office (located at the far East end of the city's park area on the south side of the highway).
Go one block and turn left. This road is paved and wanders rougly southeast out of Patagonia.
Mile 3.1: "Y" with a dirt road on the left. Stay on the pavement to the right.
Mile 6.0: Intersection. Turn to the right toward Harshaw (FR 49)
Mile 12.6: You will see FR 214 on the left. Stay on FR 49. You're almost there!
Mile 13.8: Range Riders sign on road marking entrance to campsite on left.
We're on CB Channel 4 if you get lost.
Mileage may vary, just watch for the signs as indicated. |
